Removal Defense

Arroyo Law, PLLC works with the families of individuals who have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  Attorney Guyton and her staff work diligently to ensure that families stay informed about the whereabouts of the detained client as well as to secure an immigration bond from immigration courts as quickly as possible.

Upon a successful bond application, Attorney Guyton will work with clients on removal defense applications, including asylum and/or cancellation of removal.  The office can also help clients secure employment authorization while their applications are pending.

Affirmative Immigration Cases

Family Immigration

Our office helps U.S. citizens and certain legal permanent residents in the filing of their family petitions.

Generally, U.S. citizens can sponsor their spouses, children at any age, parents, or siblings.  Some applications may be subject to a quota or waiting list. Lawful permanent residents can sponsor spouses, and minor children and unmarried adult children. These relatives may be subject to a quota and waiting list, depending on the country of nationality.

Attorney Guyton and her staff work with clients, advising of the forms and evidence they will need to successfully file a family based petition for their relatives.  Arroyo Law, PLLC ensures that families are assisted from the time of filing up until the time a beneficiary can adjust status. The Attorney also works with clients who are not eligible for adjustment of status in the United States and who must return to their native country for consular processing.
